This model is Completed and just having some extra BLO put on it while it waits for a new owner. The longer it stays up, the more layers it gets. Mods used:: - Completely remove all paint and lacquer. - Cut to 25.5 Inches - Slimmed Handle - New Flatback feature for control when using off hand for precision. - Cleaned Head including brushed steel look - Low Profile Hand Filed Bit, with Micro Bevel - Rehung with traditional Hickory, bottom eye is fully seated, and top is PROUD with mushrooming. - 1 Poplar wood wedge - 1 Barrel metal wedge, and 2 small flat metal wedges - Sanded handle finish (180 grit max so it isn’t slippery smooth) - 3 coats Boiled Linseed Oil (BLO) - Burn Process: full back blackout with addition Full Grain Contrast throughout.
